Directions for Study Guides - Students will receive a printed study guide at a minimum of 3-5 days prior to any major unit exam in science. Students should use their textbook, classroom notes, and self-created study materials (i.e. flash cards, student-generated questions, manipulatives created in class, etc.) to review carefully for all exams. NOTE: Exam questions will not typically be based on rote memorization of facts. Instead, questions will ask students to apply information learned in class to new situations and scenarios. The study guides DO NOT provide test questions. They do, however, help students to focus their study and understand which topics/concepts will be covered on each exam.
We will be having our first science exam in the next couple of weeks. I am working hard to get us caught up and prepared for it. Students received a paper copy of the study guide that can be found in their science binders. Below you will also find an electronic copy of the study guide. Please see to it that your child studies for this exam in addition to their daily homework.
