Presidential Election Homework

For homework tonight, students are to track the election results as they come in. I don't want anyone staying up too late tonight, as we have the Math District Assessment in the morning and we still need to get a good night's rest. I told students that they can color in their maps either Blue or Red, once the results become final. We looked at the following links in class to help us know whether a state was Republican or Democratic, and got a head start in coloring in our map. We told students to be careful as the results can still change in some states. Students should watch TV or follow the election online throughout the evening. Students may need to finish up before coming to school tomorrow morning, as this election looks like it will be pretty close to call for many states.
Suggested Links to track the election results:

There is also a results ticker on the sidebar that will take you right to the above link if you click on it.

Below is a link for a Electoral College Calculator to help tabulate the votes that is pretty interesting:

Happy Election 2008!
